In this column, you will find a copy of forms concerning the absence of conflict of interests* of the members of the pedagogical board of the SAS Per-formance with external organisms
With the help of specific procedures concerning the management of links of interests, the SAS Per-Formance ensures all participants: independence, impartiality and objectivity in the handling in its activities.
This declaration of interests of the members of the direction and the pedagogical college of the SAS Per-Formance allows to have a precise knowledge about the existence or not of links of interests during the last five years preceding the requested mission.
This procedure is prescribed by law.
The SAS Per-Formance prevents itself from the existence of eventual conflicts of interests concerning its modalities of selection / recruitment.
At the beginning of every academical year or at the request of the declarer in case of eventual changes of the situation during the current year, the members of the pedagogical college have to confirm by a sworn statement the absence of conflict of interests.
Definition of “conflict of interests”
“A conflict of interest is a set of conditions in which professional judgment concerning a primary interest (such as a patient's welfare or the validity of research) tends to be unduly influenced by a secondary interest (such as financial gain).“
(Dennis F. Thompson)
Conflict of interest appears often in regulated professions which have to respect ethical charter and prove so their neutrality and impartiality
In France, the conflict of interests by itself is not penalized, but illegal taking of interests is considered as an offence.
